BILINGUAL CLASS - ENGLISH PODCAST

        Creating an English podcast is a creative way to practice speaking skills and share knowledge or stories with a global audience. Through the activity, students have an opportunity to collaborate with others. In this case, they were helped by Desain Komunikasi Visual Students and Podcast Siblings, one of the program from BK SMKN 2 Balikpapan. The process begins by choosing a topic to discuss, such as education, personal experiences, culture, or language learning tips and the guest star to be invited.

        After selecting the theme, the speaker or writer should plan the structure of the episode, including the introduction, main content, and closing. During the recording process, students need to focus on clear pronunciation, proper intonation, and speaking at a natural pace so that the audience can understand the content easily.

      Using a high-tech microphone and recording in the Podcast Studio will help produce good audio quality. Once the recording is complete, the next step is editing removing unnecessary parts and enhancing the sound for a more professional result. The process seems so complicated but it can be finished with the help of DKV students and Siblings Podcast.

         All of the steps relating to the process as new learning skill to the students. They learn various competencies besides their own major. Also, managing the sosial media account they own and promoting the programs via YouTube or Instagram.
